Good and evil comes down to mainly love and envy. If you love God and his designate chosen exalted heroes, everything falls into place, and it's the heart of goodness. If you envy them, then the soul will deceive itself beyond repair eventually and it's the heart of evil.
As for those neither envy nor love the words of God brought life, because, they aren't aware of the proofs proving these pathways to God and can't find a way to either disbelieve in them or have faith in them, they are tried differently, and God willingly they will be forgiven in most cases, provided they didn't fall beyond limits of their humanity.
The great fight between good and evil, hence, has come down to the sectarian divide between Shiite and Sunni, and that is where it's at, one with clear proofs and clear insights from Quran and the other trying to blind people to clear insights and proofs and make dark what the Quran brightens and manifests.
O God bless Mohammad and the family of Mohammad just as you blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham, and make me not among the enemies of the final family of the reminder.
