Are you saying that a person cannot hate anything? What about when someone is doing something morally wrong? Can they hate the thing that they are doing? Are you saying that you don't have any hate in these things you brought up (either for the person or the thing they are doing)? I'm saying that in my experience, zealous Xtians seem to be more full of hate, and to use the word more freely than normal people. And I am wondering why.
And when someone is doing something morally wrong, more liberally minded people generally prefer to try and understand why rather than hate the person.
Hate is a very strong emotion. It's not the same as being uncomfortable or not liking something.
And the bible uses the word hate a lot. So maybe this is the reason? Maybe Xtians aren't actually full of hate but are using a word that has been chosen as part of a translation?
I am happy to accept that may be the case. But seeing what the Xtians on this forum say and how they act, I am not convinced that it can be so easily explained away.
