Yeah, obviously there wasn't a contract signed. I don't think anybody is claiming there was. Actually Trump suddenly remembered that he had said this, and said it's still on if she becomes the nominee and if he can test her 'personally' whatever that means.
To me that's not that important, although I'd love to see a million of his dollars go to a charity for minority women.
For me the important thing is that Elizabeth Warren is, to my surprise, a self reflecting person who seems to value the truth. Trump is neither of those things, obviously.
Note: if Trump did do that donation, I'd be super impressed with him. I find it unlikely he'd ever follow through under any circumstances. Even though I bet it would be a political win for him, better than a million dollars on ads.
Which doesn't make sense. I mean if she were cheating wouldn't she make herself more than 1 or 3% American Indian? Plus I doubt that a geneticist who works for 23 and me is going to risk his career and scientific reputation to make Elizabeth Warren 1% American Indian. If she is 3% which is the high estimate, that pretty much lines up with her family story.
Trump is saying that she's 1/1000 native American, which is the absolute low estimate. Again disregarding what the science says. But it doesn't matter anyway. Elizabeth chose science and thats the important thing.
