As kids, we used to go outside and get scorched by the the sun. We had no idea what sunblock was [sunburnt, to a flaky peel]. A few of my family have suffered from skin cancer as a result. I'm waiting for it to show up on me, but so far it's just been some actinic keratoses that were cryogenically removed. That cryogenic removal...spraying on Liquid Nitrogn until I got some serious pain, and then asking for mercy was not the proper protocol, since they continued spraying for some time afterwards, since most people are candy-asses and ask them to stop early. Not a happy camper with that. If I had asked sooner, I wouldn't have necessarily gotten any more mercy.
