Our own size? I see you seem to have forgotten that religion is by far and away the majority of the human species. Whatever your religion is, to say that Christians have fewer followers than we do is moronic at best.
And if you were instead implying that Christians are the majority, I see nothing wrong with challenging an oppressive, vastly larger group.

Quite possible? Yes, it is. We don't typically have issues with quiet belief. What we despise so gleefully and correctly insult is the idiocy you have displayed by asserting that a post clearly intended to question the existence of a specific god was instead poorly refuting all religion. Atheists have no quarrel with a non-existent god, (and I say non-existent not because it can never be real, but because it has never been proven), our conflict is with theists who attempt to use their unsupported dogma to influence the real world.
