No, see, this is not the case. It is certainly what his hard core minority base buys yes. But as far as independents and swing voters, no.
The biggest reason center republicans and swing voters fell for him was because during his run they were not close like NYC was to the moron. But the more he vilifies and tweets and scapegoats, he may still keep his core base, but he isn't going to keep swing states.
