I mentioned to someone that I was visiting an atheist forum and people look at me like I said, "I'm licking every hand rail that I walk by." It's shocking how much I've learned, and once in a while I can put myself in an atheists' shoes and to see that pity that some people have on their faces, it must be upsetting for someone to look at another person like that.... I've been working on my expressions and trying to turn the tables so I can be humbled. I hate when people are condescending to me, treating me like a child, speaking to me like I can't hear. I don't want to upset my atheist friends by giving them this pitiful look or a condescending speech, like they're less than human...that's why I stay connected, even if I'm not wanted. I stay because it's changing things in a positive way for me, sometimes in a negative way too. Thanks for answering the questions, they're pretty elementary, but I don't claim to know-it-all, so it's fine that I've made a fool of myself in more places than one.
Thank you for trying to better your reactions to atheists. It is appreciated. But please, don't pity us. If it turns out that you're right and I end up in Hell, I'll be happy that I'm not floating on a cloud with Rush Limbaugh
