IMO, the dumbest call from telemarketers are the ones for security systems. One of the first questions they ask is "Do you own a home security system?" So what if I say "No" and you're really a thug trying to find out if I have home security? Doesn't seem too safe.

When 'Fred' from 'Telstarra' calls about my internet connection.... Now I simply ask them if they're going to require me to down load some 'Free trial software' and thence to be put straight through to their 'Supervisor'.
Pretty much ends up with the second person just yelling at me in disgust before they hang up.
Fred, isn't that the same guy from Dell customer support? I think he works for Amazon too.
