I mean, sure, she's better than Trump or Pence, but that's not exactly setting the bar very high. It's kinda like saying that shooting yourself in the foot is better than shooting yourself in the head. Can we avoid the lesser of two evils and get someone like Elizabeth Warren and make her president?
Warren is a self righteous political klutz. If she becomes president her only lasting impact would be to give trumpism another shot at life.
Maybe. I'm just frustrated with watching politics in America slowly but surely move to the right. The democrats move to the right to try to appeal to moderate voters. The republicans move to the right to define themselves in opposition of the republicans. The democrats respond to this by moving further to the right again and the cycle continues, endlessly. Me, I've been forced to ask how far to the right am I willing to let the democrats move before I can't support them anymore? If a democrat wants my support, they have to take a good, strong stand against the corporate takeover of the government. That's the starting point. Hillary and Pelosi haven't exactly had the best record there; a lot of democrats are just as sold out to corporate interests as the republicans and I have a difficult time supporting the party because of it.
