I have Australia's fibre optics "National Broadband Network". Fibre to the premises, which is not usual.. More usual is 'fibre to the node' .(I kid you not) The NBN saga is a long and sad tale of government ineptitude.

For broadband, I pay $74 a month . For that I get 500GB data, speeds of 50/20 Mbps. I have Netflix and so far have not come close to using all my data allowance . This does not include VOIP, which annoys me no end; here all ISP's price gouge for VOIP.
I use my mobile phone for most things. I have VOIP for emergencies, such as breaking/losing my mobile phone . That costs $1.65 a month, plus calls.
