And yes, it's going to take a progressive to win this election. Democrats need someone who will excite the base. Now, if Kamala wins the primaries -- then I'll vote for her. Just like I'll vote for whatever Dem gets in (having to really hold my nose and avoid vomiting on my ballot if it's Biden or Booker). Kamala's record as a prosecutor is one that's going to be hard for a lot of people to stomach.
I want a progressive, but I don't know if it will take a progressive to win. I want Bernie, really. But I think that the one most able to beat Trump is probably Sherrod Brown. I keep getting this spidey sense that he is going to be the one to win the nom. Is he progressive? Meh. He was considered to be very progressive until Bernie sort of moved the dial on what's progressive. Brown has been disappointing me with bad policies like his plan to increase the EITC. The EITC has become welfare for business owners that need the government to pay people to work for them. So he might not be so progressive.
I can vote for Harris. I can certainly vote for Warren.
I don't think that I can get myself to vote for Biden or Booker. I might have to go 3rd party if they get the nom.
