Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," the former Godfather's Pizza CEO said protests and legal challenges to a planned mosque in Tennessee city are an example of local residents pushing back.
One wonders what version of the US Constitution this moron has read...if indeed has read any.

Min, Min, Min, Min.
You just don't get it do you?
It's a god given right.
The bible over rules these ephemeral human constitutions.
And appealing to peoples prejudices gets you votes.

He claims that Islam inherently mixed church and state and is therefore a political organization. Of course, Christianity has always respected the state as a sovereign entity and been perfectly content with democratic ideas. Oh wait...

Nigger indeed

One wonders why Mr.Cain is no longer CEO of Godfather's pizza.
Now he thinks he's qualified to lead a country when his profound ignorance of the 1st amendment is so blatant and he's so proud to demonstrate it?
Islam in truth is not a religion, but a political ideology. So in truth as such it has no right under the 1st amendment. However, one would be hard pressed to push that through as a matter of fact in American jurisprudence or politics. In the meantime, Mr. Cain demonstrates his ignorance further when he references Sharia Law. It's only applicable to Muslims and as they inhabit other countries, like the U.S. it does not preclude them from answering to secular authority if they break the laws of the land while committing to the laws of Sharia. There is no religious exemption, which is something that should be addressed in matters such as relates to mention of Sharia in America.
Islam is not a religion of tolerance, so it's not surprising others would refuse to tolerate Islam in return. However, this man who proposes he's fit to lead this nation is as transparent a fraud in that regard as he is woefully ignorant of the most basic principles required to fill the post with distinction. He's in the race for the face time and the money, period. He clearly imagines because voters made history electing the first black President into office in 2008 that Mr. Cain is now able to represent himself as a viable candidate to run as the next black candidate after Obama.
He would be wrong.

Quote:Cain said his view doesn't amount to religious discrimination because he says Muslims are trying to inject Shariah law into the U.S.
So in other words, let's oppress them before they oppress us!
Too bad so many people are afraid of Shariah Law here in the U.S. You know, it would be nice if we had something written down that says that religion can't control government, and vice versa. Maybe if we had it written into law in one of our founding documents, like maybe the Constitution. Perhaps some day they could amend the Constitution to say that there will be no establishment of religion or something. I guess until that happens, we have to keep fighting attempts by Muslims to push through religious laws.

It's scary how much our country is shifting to the right, and so rapidly.
Anyone out there who's not scared, just consider that W Bush, who once led the GOP, now is a centrist in comparison.

Oh, I am fully aware of it and scared so much it will keep me voting Democrat, regardless of how much I like the candidate. I fear with every year that passes we get closer and closer to mimmicking the governement in '1984.'
