What do you mean the biblical kind is not synonymous with species?

The “Biblical Kind” classification actually hovers higher up the taxonomical tree than species. You would have had a Canine kind that all wolves, coyotes, dingoes, and domestic dogs are descended from. So Adam would not have had to name every species because they did not arise until after the flood. Does that make more sense?

What was his native tongue? How did he learn it? Certainly this tongue of god is still spoken.

Scripture does not actually tell us. I would assume it was an ancient form of Hebrew but that’s just my opinion.
