Church-run hospitals are another. That's especially true when they restrict what medical treatments can be offered in their hospitals, or what type or "lifestyle" of people they will treat - or will somehow treat people differently based on their religion or (legal) lifestyle.
Ummm why do they need to know my religion in a hospital anyway? Why in a particular corporate-run hospital did my religion mysteriously get changed repeatedly from "none" to "Christian"? Why send in a preacher to convert me when stress worsens my condition? How DARE they send in a "religious" person to inform a dying person they are going to Hell? (I know of several such cases)

No, that timeline assumes a global flood never occurred a priori, so it cannot be used to argue against scripture because it is based off of anti-biblical assumptions. *Giggles at the fact that Rhythm doesn’t seem to realize that the creation model depends on descent with modification.

Well, I would start my first post with a new thread, but this seems to be where all the action is right now. Hello everyone, I am brand new to all this, but am looking foward to some good conservations. I am going to do my very best to keep an open mind to any opinions and facts. Even though this can’t be a serious question I will give you a serious answer.
1. Adam did not need to name millions of species, the Biblical kind is not synonymous with species.
2. Adam didn’t name them “deer”, he would have named them using his native tongue.
What do you mean the biblical kind is not synonymous with species?
What was his native tongue? How did he learn it? Certainly this tongue of god is still spoken.

You would have had a Canine kind that all wolves, coyotes, dingoes, and domestic dogs are descended from. Scripture does not actually tell us. I would assume it was an ancient form of Hebrew but that’s just my opinion.

Let me see if I have got this straight. It took a couple billion years of evolution to get to the 'pre-flood' era, but then evolution stepped it up a notch and in less than 10,000 years, these species diversified?
