Garden was like a prison, especially since all the animals, including dinosaurs, were crammed inside because it seems that the rest of the world was an unlivable desert, because why otherwise would they be limited to the garden? And also it says in Bible that there was no vegetation on Earth except in the garden.

In the gen 1 seven day of creation Father God created man on the earth day 6
In Gen 2 Jesus created Adam and eve apart fro 6 day man the father created.
So why both? to show our nature before God (when God is watching and we know it) and to show our nature when we do not know God is whatching, so that we may have an understanding as to why initially hide from us. So that our time here can be spent following our true hearts intentions. rather than pretending to love God that you know is watching, and or to see God beyond what is initially known or knowable.
