Um, that's because many traditional Christian beliefs are themselves intolerant. It's not hypocrisy to oppose them.
However, we do have to be careful not to paint all Christians with the same brush. They are very diverse.
Yet these same assholes rightfully point out ISIS's intolerance. "At least we don't throw our gays off rooftops," is not an argument for being a asshole bigot.
There are certainly degrees of bigotry involved. Everyone likes to feel superior to someone about some things. Credit where credit is due I guess, but some of such accomplishments aren't much to brag about.
Since I think naturalism described human behaviors better than dogmas, I think most Christians act like most other people most of the time. It's only when they have to signal to others about their group identities that they get all weird about certain issues, just like other people do when concerned about their group identities. Because of that, I take issue with Christians on a point-by-point basis. In other words, I look more at what people do than at what they say.
