You do seem to be indifferent to it, though.

 

You are required, by law, to provide medical care for these people.

 

You don't seem to be keeping up with the news.  Even people entering at recognized ports of entry are being subjected to detention and ill treatment.  'Sneaking in' is no longer the shitty justification that it was.


 

EVERY SINGLE PERSON that enters the US and says, 'I am seeking asylum' has, because of that phrase, done so legally.  It doesn't matter if they came at a port of entry or crossed in the dead of night or were smuggled across in the back of a lorry.  There is no such thing as an illegal asylum seeker.


So, computer programmers and specialists in Byzantine pottery should get preference over people fleeing the death squads of narco-terrorists?  Are you out of your mind?

Those are impressively stupid comments.  Nothing - NOTHING - I said could be taken to mean that everyone walking into the US gets to stay there forever.  Nothing I said supports the idiotic notion of open borders.  Nothing I said supports the idea that you give asylum to narco-terrorists.
