In a nutshell, the bible is our instructions of how to live a glorious life...

But is it right to impose that on others? Is a glorious life possible without the Bible? Is a not-so-glorious life possible with it?

I don't usually impose but if it's brought up... Or, getting hammered by a antitheist.

God wants us shiny like a star in the night sky or a candle in a dark room. The Greek word translated as 'glory' is doxa and means to shine forth. God's purpose is to glorify us as plainly stated in Romans 8--"those He calls...He glorifies". Jesus told us "Don't hide it...let it shine".


But the church wants to glorify God? How? They are backwards! The reason God wants us to look good, and be shiny, is so that He looks good to others around us. That's what it means to be a true witness; testimony. Not running around asking people, "Are you saved?"

Life as an abundance glorifies God. But, both death and life are a fragrant aroma to God. Some don't live life such as pastors, Apostle Paul, Timothy, as death works in them that we might have life in God's Word and that more abundant. And we should be grateful for them. Some  sacrifice there own lives so that others may live. I'm no Catholic but Mother Theresa is an AWESOME example of that. When it comes time for her evaluation: I'm gonna wear shades!

God's Word is the light to my path and the guide to my feet and I always end up at the perfect place at the perfect time in history to be in perfect places. That's the story of my life. It freaked me out! Like walking off a cliff! It's a narrow path that few find but it looks just like Jesus in a mirror! He just said, "You, Follow Me!"
