The question seems to be whether life signifying something, or is it just sound and fury signifying nothing?

I think you take the latter view, while I take the former.

I don’t take the former because it needs to signify something, but rather I perceive it as such. As much as I can acknowledge the sense of purposelessness, the cruelty, and suffering of it all, I must also acknowledge its paradox, of joy, love, hope, and beauty. That within our perceptions of a broken humanity, is a whole one, than with our perception of evil, lays the perception of good.
