Really crazy that people don't see hypocrisy like this as a problem, rob. That being said, FB is a corporation and while they like to present themselves as left-wing or at least left-friendly, they're undoubtedly on the right; they're a multi-billion dollar company.
So I can't be surprised that a corporation is selectively enforcing anything. They have their agenda, just like any other corporation. Good thing I haven't been on FB in years and never plan to go back as it's a complete waste of my time and energy. The time spent bullshitting on media could be time spent writing, exercising, thinking about things, going out with friends, playing chess, going to martial arts classes, learning a new language, etc. Social media is for the dumb masses and even though I'm probably pretty dumb, I'm not playing into that bullshit.
