Well, I haven't seen 'American Sniper' (not my kind of film).

Bush said God told him to invade Iraq four months after the invasion, so it hardly qualifies as a 'pretext'.

He used the word 'crusade' the day after the WTC attacks and didn't invade Iraq for another year and a half.

Do you have a source for republicans referring to Iraqis as 'godless savages'?

1.He made speech 4 months after I'm talking about motivations up to the invasion which was clearly influenced by religion 

2.Once again  the war in Iraq was part of the war on terrorism and that speech was about the war on terrorism 

3. Fox News defense  of the American Sniper when his acts were criticized as unchristian and a fox news host said Jesus would be all for the killing of godless heathens (it was heathens not savages sorry)
