That's pretty much all that goes on with the bans. Both my elder sons are also "gun nuts".
I can go get the rules of law that make a particular firearm unlawful as an "assault weapon" in the state of California, but I'm sure that I'd be told I was wrong. There's some crazy Byzantine shit here in California that defies any kind of logic...and doesn't make anyone any safer.
