Thanks.  I skimmed several of the links (you're right - there's a LOT of info there) and could not find a single reference to white supremacy.

That being said, the warning signs and triggers listed don't necessarily preclude a shooter being a white supremacist.  These include violent behaviour, depression, a sudden interest in firearms, being sacked from a job, and so on.
 
So, one can be a troubled white single male and conduct a mass shooting with or without being a white supremacist.

White supremacists used to be seen as groups who got together and held rallies while waving Confederate flags and/or sporting Nazi emblems and/or KKK robes.  Now we are finding solo white supremacists who look like the guy next door or in the next cube at the office.  It's almost scarier that they look 'normal' and aren't advertising their stance and plans (if any) to the general public.  Their manifestos and threats tend to appear on social media and not seen by a large number of people.  It's only after an event like this that their intentions are made known.  They are able to hide in plain site.
