Cats, dogs, birds, etc. tend to be much better company, are more loyal, and don't create drama.
Hmm, I would have to disagree. Life is all about people.
It sucks if you don't have good people in your life though. I'm lucky to have a supporting family and friends I can call for anything.
Not everyone has that though and I get it.
