It's a very subjective appraisal, is all. Whether or not it's "worth it". We can say, from the pov of our shared opinion, that it probably isn't..but that's hardly an objective metric for the person making the decision. Violence can be (and often has been) the answer. That's what we have to contend with in making some uniform case against violence. We imagine the losers in these comparisons..but that ignores the fact that there are also winners.
