Yeah, that's how partisan politics works in Washington nowadays: the president is under CONSTANT investigation. That's pretty much how it's gone since the 90's, with the exception that Bush got a brief break right after 9/11. Even if you haven't actually done anything. Now the opposition to those investigation is turning things around and investigating the investigators.
And, yeah, I don't know who's going to be president when Trump leaves or when that will be, but I can already predict this president is going to be under investigation for something, too. And the president after that, same thing. And so on and so on.
Wouldn't it be nice if our elected officials would just worry about legislating instead of this ridiculous game of political gotcha they're going for? I mean, I'm not going to be any kind of fan of Trump, EVER, but my criticisms are more about policy and less tabloid fodder.
