Straight up and magnificent she contained me
With a kiss followed by a hug
So warm it regenerated my luck
Her enthusiasm made me stuck
Loving and caring she let the worse pass
She kissed the ghosts out
Made me wish for the soil under her feet
Her bed sheets her pillow
Her warm smile her morning hello
I have to admit, this is one of your better submissions.
But dude, seriously, hormones are a cluster fuck.
I know exactly what you felt in typing this poem.
Ann McCarthy was a cheerleader in my youth that I pined after, chased and was ultimately rejected by.
But I do get it. You see someone you are attracted to, and hope that they feel the same way. Realty isn't like that.
But what "if" they felt the same way about you even for once?

This one line says it all, "Her warm smile her morning hello"
That hello probably didn't happen because he drove over there to have breakfast...
...if you know what I mean
The 'hello' happened; for so long too.

When I saw her burqa I thought my vest exploded but it was my heart.
She made me walk dizzy like untrained pilot in a cockpit that lost his smart.
When I slammed into her we both went down in flames and dust.
And now, because of love, in Abu Ghraib I must rust.
Upgrade your xenophobic racist vocabulary..Abu Ghuraib is as old as 2003
