Abortion: Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?

Granted. I didn't mean to be provocative, and I apologise for that mistake. I believe it is a 'person' from conception.

That's my biggest problem right there. This age old debate is really not about the life itself, it's really about religion. Basically it's the, "when does god issue a person his or her soul?" argument. Conception? After all if your zygote dies, aren't you going to want to go see it in heaven?? It's the same old fear of death bull shit that gave us the slavery of heaven and the eternal damnation of hell!

(Note: If a woman has a miscarriage 3 weeks after conception and the fetus dies and goes to heaven it would then realistically have no personality, no behavior traits, no language, no social development and no knowledge of you whatsoever. The very idea, like most things christian, was not well thought out.)

I think christians are lying. I don't think they give a shit about life - that's pretty much been proven throughout the old testament. They yell, "SAVE THE BABIES" while their bible tells the armies of Israel to cut them out of the pagans wombs.

Nope, it's not life. It's a purely religious issue. At what point is a person handed a soul? I has to be about that. If their argument was TRULY about protecting LIFE, than why don't they bitch about rubbing out some knuckle-babies and disposing of them in a wadded up tissue??? Is there not 'the essence of life' in semen? Gimme a break.

This debate isn't about life, it's about religion and whether or not it is a sin to terminate pregnancy. "If it's got a soul - than it must be murder." That's the real truth. They use propaganda like gross medical pictures vs. pictures of beautiful 3 year olds to sell it, but in reality, they're just protecting the idiocy of their religion. Have you read the Bible?!?!? Life is NOT precious to a christian. Yeah, they THINK it is, but in reality, they believe the only person allowed to violently kill babies is their precious god. Its disgusting hypocrisy.



My take on the whole thing... I personally would probably never want to see my child aborted, but let a woman (or couple) do what they want and leave her the fuck alone! Isn't religion doing enough to fuck up the world already?!?
