It's actually fairly telling what's happened here. CoxRox has suffered a setback and has actually said that her 'hope' has got much stronger recently. Confirmation bias at work, I believe.
CR, I don't mean to use your father's unfortunate and no doubt untimely death as a stick to jab you with here, but why was it something that strengthened your conviction? Or rather, having asked Jesus to prove his worth to you, what would've had to have happened for you to stop believing? Because it seems like the exact opposite of what you asked for happening (ie keeping your family safe) would be about as clear a sign that nobody's listening, or that if there is, they aren't altogether that bothered about your well being, nor that of your family.
