I often think that if there truly was an all knowing, loving god, it wouldn’t let its fanclub get away with some of the things they do in its name.
I can kind of understand how people could believe in a fucked up piece of shit god. Like Westboro, their god is a fucking asshole which kind of makes sense if you believe humanity is his chief concern. You’d have to be a seriously twisted monster to create the human race. But a “loving” god? Even if you’re idiotic enough to be a theist you still have to make another equally outrageous jump deeper into the impossible to conclude it’s “loving”. Have these people never been outside?
