Then you're against changing the calendar, full stop. As GB said, it isn't a Christian calendar, it isn't a pagan calendar. It's got elements of both. I think your call to change it is little more than a knee-jerk reaction to the fact this it was a pope who modified the Julian calendar to give us the one we use today.
But let's imagine that we were using a calendar that had NO Christian influence, just pre-Christian Greek, Roman, Norse, etc. Such a calendar would still have heavy religious influence. Would you want it changed?
