And that is the basis of these laws, frods. There is no escaping it. You are, whether you want to admit it or not, equating a gob of goo with a "person."
The nut jobs are simply taking it one step further and elevating the "rights" of the gob of goo over those of the woman who is sentenced ( assuming the meaning of the word 'sentenced' to = punishment ) to carry it to term and then comply with all of societies demands for her to play the role of mother.
Or...she can give it up for "adoption" and have it disappear into a foster care system which is creaking under the weight of too many children.
