If you let us know the title of the study and the site where it's hosted, we can Google it.

I clicked before removal, it's an article about a meta-survey of IQ vs. religiosity. 
The key takeaway from the magazine article was;

The meta-survey itself is in a scientific journal and thus locked behind a pay-wall.

However given that DW hasn't made any reference to the size of the effect or that the article as good as states that IQ is not the determining factor I don't get the impression that he actually read it.
