2 kg if there are no metal parts in the scale being attracted to the magnet. The magnets will separate by pushing up the upper magnet until the magnetic force between them is reduced to exactly the weight of the upper, ~ 9,8 Newtons. This is the equilibrium position. By virtue of Newton's third law, this means that also the weight of the upper pushes down on the lower.
