Yes, some of us have to actually earn a living.
Boru
Cut the crap.
If you stupidly think that because I don't have to work now, means I didn't sweat my ass off, you are full of shit.
I am lucky, I will never deny that. But from the time I was 17 up until my mothers passing, I constantly had to work my ass off.
Have you ever worked a breakfast joint on Easter Sunday as a dishwasher? Have you ever had to do labor work on a construction site in the middle of winter?
Have you ever sat in a nursing home 12 to 16 hours a day 6 to 7 days a week, to care for your aging parent?
I AM DAMNED FUCKING LUCKY I had the mother I did. But you don't know my job history. I have worked for 7-11, Papa Johns, and construction companies. Shithole companies who don't give a fuck how miserable you are.
So when you say you work for a living. I am sure you do. But don't hand me any crap, that if you were handed what my mom handed me, you'd continue to sweat your ass off if you didn't have to.
You earn a living. Most do. But how dare you stupidly assume that now that I am in a better position to relax, that somehow I don't know what it is like to struggle.
I used to work at a breakfast place that opened at 6am. I would work until 2pm, then the place would close for two hours, reopen at 4 for dinner. In that time I would clean the kitchen scrubbing everything, floors, counters, backsplashes and then go back to dishwashing for another 3 hours when they opened up at 4 for dinner. I would come in at 6 and sometimes not leave till 10pm that night. GO F YOURSELF with your judgmental bullshit.
