Cows most frequently. Semen is sold by breeders because cows need to get pregnant regularly to keep producing milk.

I watched a doco on the milk/veal industry. It made me seriously consider becoming a vegetarian.

The females aren't grazing in a lush green meadow. Instead they are crammed in a big barn with no room. 
They're genetically modified to hold more milk, in this constant cycle of pregnancy which wears them out. It all results in a short life span for her

Meanwhile the mother watches in despair as her calf is taken away every time. If it's female it gets farmed for milk.
If it's male it gets put in a tiny pen. They limit its movement so that its muscles remain tender before being slaughtered and sold as veal.

It's real cruelty to animals

Yay. The myth of the battery cattle. 

You have conflated so much crap in there that it may well be impossible to pull apart. I will give it a whirl for what it is worth.

Veal.

I have never partaken. In my long ago youth, I had no idea what that even was. Age, wisdom and learning has taught me that the entire thing is deeply unethical. It should be banned.

Milk.

This is not even in the same ballpark as veal. Perhaps on planet sausage, if you squint. You are a mere small step away from human mothers being barred from breastfeeding their children as it violates the mothers bodily integrity.

BS. They all are in my country. Perhaps yours is cruel, mine is not. And I am almost certain that you are wrong. Chickens can be battery farmed, but applying the same to cows breeds sick cows which promptly keel over and are unsaleable for the farmer.

Visit an actual farm. You are proposing battery cows which happens exactly nowhere.

Utter bollox. A calf intended for veal will be so treated. And I have already told you that I consider the entire veal thing to be unethical. Otherwise, it does not happen that way in the norm. Go visit an actual fucking farm.
