Interesting point. Years ago, I set up for the whole nine yards of Wolf 3d with my kids. Network game, co-op play and all that.
They eventually wandered off into other games.
Now that they are older what do they want me to crank up? Wolf 3d.
Nostalgia? The mad joy of a fully co-op game? I don't know for sure.
I do know that the fancy graphics have lost their appeal and the whole notion that one must think about what one is doing have somehow become more important. Dunno why that might be.
