Abortion poll

There is no such thing as abortion after birth you nitwit.

I think he / she want to speak about the possibility to kill the child between some seconds or minutes after the birth.
Abortion is not the right word for this situation because an abortion can only be done before the birth accorded to the definition of this word but we understand easily what it does means in this context.
I have no problem with using words in a figurative way.

I don't know any places of the world that legalized the killing of an infant after his birth.

If in USA a state legislature , territory legislature or D.C legislature (Federal congress can vetoes permanent bill from Council of the District of Columbia) legalize this kind of infanticide. Would it be a violation of American Constitution or / and another piece of federal legislation ?



If a state member of Council of Europe (CoE) legalize that. Would it be a violation of "Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms" nicknamed "European Convention on Human Rights".

All countries members of European Union are members of this organization but not all members of CoE are members of EU.
All members of European Economic Area (EEA) are members of this council.
EEA are 27 countries of EU more Island , Liechtenstein and Norway. It is an agreement between EU and these three countries.
IS , LI and NO are also members of European Freed Trade Association (EFTA) like Switzerland but unlike CH they are members of EEA.
States parties to EFTA are members of EEA except Swiss Confederation. EFTA is an economic union between these four countries and EU.
There are states that are neither members of EU , EEA or EFTA members of CoE like Andorra , Armenia , Montenegro (One of the six candidates to join EU) , UK , Ukraine etc...
