I've wanted to develop a highly localized disruptor  for cell phones, not to hide from big brother, but just because I used to hate seeing cell phones everywhere and I wanted them to all die. The worst were those walkie talkie phones that everyone would hold loud convos in public! Fuck those people. The next worst are the people listening to their phone-mail inbox at full volume on speaker! Fuck those people too!

When I was a young man and saw someone walking down the street holding a conversation with someone who wasn't there the conclusion was easily reached. It's same now, just another conclusion.
