With the various gods of the world's magic books talking so much ridiculous shit about people who don't believe in them, and what they're going to do to people who don't believe in them - that's not a credible state for the body of theism. They say that the author of creation is an intervening entity with a shitlist. Violence isn't a bug of that sort of belief system, it's a feature.
I worry less, honestly, about some 9/11 - because that's nothing compared to the day to day cruelty and indifference.
