When I was in Egypt the last time, I got mugged by a taxi driver and when I asked a cop in the street to help me resolve the problem,I remember his exact words to this day: "دا  عداد ميري ما بيخربش ولا بيغش" / "This is a military counter that doesn't cheat"

The Museum holds the largest collection of Egyptian objects outside Egypt telling the story of life and death in the ancient Nile Valley.

The country is held under a corrupt military dictatorship, and I was there during the revolution of 2011. Decent Egyptians stood against the military dictatorship and overthrew its leader -Husni Mubarak- but lost and fell with the advent of a new dictator called "Al-Sisi".

Hey; that military dictatorship sold half of the country and its culture to foreign powers -especially Britain-.

The smell of garbage killed me because the military cares not about cleaning streets, neither does it pay to restore the country's heritage.

But a new revolution is coming indeed
