Maybe the shallowness of your interlocutors here is why you have so far limited yourself to only literal readings of the OT. As you know from your study of Pardes and its Christian equivalents, the literal reading is only the first, and often the least important, level of hermeneutical analysis.
If you are willing to move on from the shallower readings you've done so far, into a deeper exegesis, I promise to read your posts with care.
