Splain this to us big boy.  You speak gibberish.

for him the test WAS a positive result as he was not infected. he is focusing on the literal use of the word positive rather than the clinical meaning. but at the same time knows the clinical words and is trying to bridge the gap. The dude does not think in text but pictures. or though a literal process, and then has to convert to words. which can be hard to do for some especially if they have a ton of other things gong on.
