Yea, thanks for reminding me it is illegal to be retired. But to be somewhat fair, I don't know how long my nest egg will last. I am trying to get it to last till social security. So far I am doing ok.

No one said it was illegal. What a normal person would have done with your windfall would have been to continue working to make SURE the nest egg would last. Remember when you had that panic attack because your couldn’t reach your finance guy? If had manned up and gotten a job, you could have avoided that.
I don’t have to work and I do work, so the answer to your question is ‘yes’.
