I've taken two of this theories. one nuralink and the ability to upload your consciousness into a super computer and then download it into any body and sim theory which allows for an avatar type of sim.

you dont seem to understand what the bible has to say on the subject. Paul divides our being into 3 entities Body, mind, soul, spirit. body being our physical form the mind being the cognitive center for the body it seems to regulate body function and is what is bound to sin. Soul is our Spiritual being spirit being the mind of the soul. I went into greater detail when we discussed the possibility of our brains not being the origins of our consciousness but a simple transmitter and receiver.

Then we are told over and over this world is not our home that we are not these carnal creatures but spiritual being in nature. again if a theory need be changed we make one small adjustment to the sci fi side and rather being in the matrix we are in avatar.
