You don't need evidence to not believe in some proposed deity whose definitions made up by humans they can't possible prove true, crammed into a made up knowledge about a pre universe state they cannot know anything about.
If theists believe a made up deity did it, and are happy replacing 'I don't know, and cannot know' with a made up god then here's a link you will enjoy.

It's true, we don't have a single reason, good or otherwise to not believe in a god, for that and for an emotional response a god would have to be shown to exist.
