Why limit ourselves to just the one mistake, right?
I'm sure that the longer you speak, the more depraved and broken your god will be. It's almost as if it's a reflection of your own damaged psyche..or something.
Or....and I think this is a longshot, the author of human nature just doesn't understand human nature. It tried to make a meatgrinder and it tried to fill it with a bunch of garbage people, but the garbage just wouldn't cooperate. The soul forge's entire purpose stymied by a bunch of jumped up apes who can see the good and be the good in this world.
