That's not why he went along with the admin and told oversight to fuck off anyway. He had his own wishlist of things that were important to him. He was willing to trade this, for that. He got what he wanted and noped out, and now he plans to make coin on having sold out his country.
It's a good thing that cooler heads (usually) prevail here, because I think he deserves to meet a firing squad.
Most of the politicos are ignoring their duty and have wish lists as far as I can tell. We'd probably need a battalion sized detachment.
