Pull your head out of your arsehole, you patronising prick. I am at peace and am happy without your shitty God, or heaven. I do good things because I'm good, not for the promise of eternal reward, which is made up.
Well, ElDinero, you know a tree by its fruits, and this isn't the fruit of peace and happiness that you're sharing with me.
I don't dispute that you're capable of moral behavior, as everyone has a God given conscience which tells them right from wrong. But you go further here and say that you're a good person. The problem with that statement is that I know for a fact that like all human beings, myself included, you are a hypocrite who doesn't live up to even his own standard let alone Gods standard. You might be relatively good in comparison to a Hitler, but Gods standard of good is perfection, and the only person to ever live up that standard is His Son.
If I were to know all of the things you have ever done wrong in your life, including the secret things, or at least the things you think are a secret, would you still claim to me that you're a good person? I have no idea what you might say, but I don't have any illusions about my past. I haven't been a good person, I've been a terrible person, and the only thing good about me is something God put there. I thought I was good, or rather I thought my heart was good, but the problem with the theory is how true this verse is:
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
In this wicked world, it's easy to think you're good, because you might be more compassionate than average, and of course the world trains you to believe that we're all generally good, but the average is total depravity. To be a few notches above depravity isn't really saying much. Our civilization is founded on this pretense that people are mostly good, but in actuality they are mostly sinful. It is all teeming below the surface, although lately it has been bursting from its seams. The way of this world is utterly corrupt, and that is why people are so upset, because there is no justice. People are in bondage to the ways of death, and are being ground into dust. That's the reality, unfortunately, and that's why Jesus did what He did at calvary.

If you read what I said carefully, you'll see that there is free will, however what is wicked and degenerate will be plucked out like it never existed. Heaven will be more evolved, you might say.
