I have been a lifetime Washington fan. I know the history of the owner. I was talking about him, not you.

I know you weren't talking about me, but you were talking to me.  And your response had nothing to do with what I said.

How is the owner not attached to this subject? He's been pressured for years long before now, decades in fact, to change the name. The fact it took other rich corporations to get him to do this is relevant.

Agreed, but that's got nothing to do with what I said.

And I really am not giving Fedex [sic] or Nike that much credit either. If the Redskins had the same record as the Patriots and were winning Super Bowls year after year like the Pats have, not sure Fedex [sic] or Nike would be doing this now. But the Redskins suck and I think that played more into why Fedex [sic] and Nike did what they did in putting pressure on the owner.
